バンコクから西へ約100キロ、ダムヌンサドアック水上マーケット近くのタイ固有種の猫を飼育

タイの猫はシャム猫に代表される通り、優雅で美しく、自尊心は高いが従順な賢い猫として世界中で珍重されています。
このタイ猫交配養護施設ではタイ固有種の保護と育成を行っており、
園内には100匹前後の猫が飼育されています。
現存するタイ固有種は以下の5種です。
Wichenmas（シャム猫）
Silver Blue Cat（コラート猫）
Supalat（Copper Cat）
Black Cat（Gon Jaa Cat）
Kaw Mannee（Pure White Cat）
この中でも最後のKaw Mannee（カオマニー）は全身が純白で左右の目が
ブルーとイエローの色違いで生まれる場合があり、非常に希少な猫と
してタイでも大切に扱われています。
同園では交配後生まれた子猫の販売もしていますが、多くの方の
寄付、支援に支えられています。
